A. V. Dicey (1835–1922; Oxford DNB); jurist and constitutional theorist. Best known as the author of Introduction to the Study of the Law of the Constitution (1885). Vinerian Professor of English Law at Oxford. Appointed a Vice-President of the Society of Authors.
