Biography

Henry White (1833–1890); Church of England priest and, from 1860, chaplain of the Queen's Chapel of the Savoy. Appointed Hon. Chaplain-in-Ordinary to the Queen in 1870 and Chaplain-in-Ordinary to the Queen in 1873; Chaplain to the House of Commons from 1869 to 1874 (reappointed in 1889). Appointed a Vice-President of the Society of Authors.
