Cicely Hamilton (1872–1952; Oxford DNB); writer and campaigner for women's rights. Wrote many successful plays and novels, including A Pageant of Great Women (1909), a suffrage play performed around the country. Founded the Women Writers' Suffrage League with the writer Bessie Hatton.
