Henry Baker Tristram (1822–1906; Oxford DNB); geologist, naturalist and clergyman. A founder and original member of the British Ornithologists' Union; became a fellow of the Royal Society in 1868. Published several books on the Holy Land. Appointed a Vice-President of the Society of Authors.
