James Augustus Cotter Morison (1832–1888; Oxford DNB); author. Regular contributor to the Literary Gazette and the Saturday Review. Also published works of biography. Chairman of the Committee of Management after Walter Besant, but stepped down after a short tenure due to ill health. Succeeded by William Frederick Pollock.
